DELIVERY INFO
- At Price Pirate we offer Australia wide delivery to our customers on most smaller items and metro capital city and regional area delivery on larger items such as whitegoods and televisions. - Smaller items will be delivered by Australia Post or Fastway courier - if you're not home a card will be left for pick up or to reschedule delivery. - Deliveries take place Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. Unfortunately we cannot offer weekend deliveries at this stage. Sydney metro customers can pickup from our store located at John Hines Avenue, Minchinbury. Customers intending to pickup should always call prior on 1300 578 810 to confirm stock availability. - Larger items are delivered in 3 ways, by our own delivery vehicles, Allied Express or direct from the manufacturer. We do not usually deliver lager items until a day has been confirmed with the customer to eliminate the costs associated with extra delivery attempts. A signature is required in receipt of all deliveries. An authorised person can sign on your behalf provided they reside at the shipping address provided. - All customers will be provided with a consignment number to track and trace their item. - All items that are delivered on the store truck within Sydney will be
booked in with the customer prior to the day, at a mutually convenient
time . If the customer is not at home at this agreed time, a secondary
delivery fee may be charged. - All items are brand new and delivered in original sealed manufacturers packaging. - All delivery prices
are outlined on each individual product page. Please note that if you
are outside of our normal shipping zones, additional postage charges may need to be added but you will be contacted first. PAYMENT
- Payment can be made by Direct Deposit bank to bank transfer, Paypal, Visa, Mastercard or Amex. There are no fees for using credit cards or Paypal. Your credit card statement will not show PricePirate as the merchant but will actually show our retail store name for example Betta Electrical Superstore. Please note this when checking card statements to avoid any confusion.
- A further 2% discount is available for payments made by direct deposit bank to bank transfers. By entering discount code 888 whilst in your cart. Attempts to obtain the 2% discount when using credit card or Paypal as a payment method will be corrected when your order is processed by our staff and you will be contacted in regards to correcting your payment. - Orders where no payment has been received within 7 days will be cancelled unless arrangements have been made with our sales team. Stock is not allocated or ordered until full payment is confirmed. - A Tax Invoice will be emailed or shipped with the goods. The invoice will detail your purchase, any options paid for including extended warranty and a total amount paid including GST. The invoice will be from our retail store shipping the item. You must retain this invoice for warranty purposes.

- 250GB Hard Disk Drive. The built-in 250GB Hard Disk Drive lets you record an enormous amount of programming without using a DVD. With a massive 885 hours of capacity and editing capabilities, you can have the freedom to store a massive amount of your favourite programs. Should you wish to archive the informattion, you can easily record it to Blu-ray Disc or DVD.
- Twin HD TerrestrialTuner. The DMR-BW780 features Twin HD TerrestrialTuners allowing you to record Digital broadcasts without the use of an external tuner incorporated into a set-top box. High quality digital television enjoyment has never been easier with a Panasonic Recorder. The hybrid digital tuner offers HD/SD recording.
- DLNA Home Server Functionality. The DMR-BW780 is equipped with DLNA server functionality. By connecting to LAN and with compatible DLNA client device, the recorded programmes, AVCHD and JPEG files archived on the recorder's hard disc drive can be enjoyed in a separate room. Using DLNA® technology, Panasonic Blu-ray Disc™ players and home cinema systems can access files on the DLNA Server High Definition Recorders or compliant PC*.
- PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus. The PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus is a high quality image processing technology developed to precisely process each pixel of the Blu-ray Disc™ video signal. It reproduces colour data with twice the accuracy of conventional systems to keep colours faithful and sharp.
- Long Time Archiving. The recorder's H.264 encoder compresses the recorded programmes at a lower bitrate but retains its high-definition resolution, which takes up less space on the disc without compromising on picture quality as much. The images are crisp and clear due to advanced compression technologies that are optimized to match each scene.
- 35-Hour Long Time Archiving in HM mode. This function is also convenient for saving hard disk space. In HM mode, a maximum of 35 hours of high definition recording data can be saved onto BD-RE DL/BD-R DL (50GB).
- VIErA Cast. By connecting the DMR- BW780 the Internet, VIERA CAST lets the user view videos on YouTubeTM, Web-based photos on PicasaTM, stock information on Bloomberg,as well as the weather forecast. BD-Live also allows Blu-ray Disc™ bonus content to be downloaded and Internet games to be played.
- Superior Audio Quality. For superior audio quality, the DMR-BW780and uses the HD Audio codec based on the Blu-ray DiscTM standards to decode Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio Essential for up to 7.1-channel output.

- Direct Navigator for Easy and Quick Search. With Direct Navigator technology graphical user interface you can find desired material on the hard drive quickly. Just press the direct navigator button to display thumbnails of all the programs on the hard disk drive or a DVD-RAM disc, then, select the one you want and press enter. It's that easy! and with "List Display" you can sort the programs by date or title.
- Time Slip Function. Simultaneous Recording & Playback: Enjoy watching a pre-recorded program, Blu-ray Disc or DVD while recording two programs. You can conveniently catch up on the previous week's episode while recording this week's program.
- 16:9 Widescreen Recording. The DMR-BW780 will record 16:9 Aspect Ratio (Widescreen) when receiving Widescreen input from either HD or SD Digital broadcast transmission. Recording is performed as normal and you will be able to view full 16:9 format for playback. When in DR (Direct Recording) Mode, the DMR-BW880 also records off-air sub-titles.
- VIErA-Link for easy operation. With a single cable, HDMI enables transmission of not only A/V signals but also control signals. All you have to do to enjoy a new level of operation convenience is hook up to a VIErA or home theatre system with VIErA Link compatibility. When you want home theatre entertainment, for example, just press the VIErA-Link button on the remote. Power to all the components switches on, TV input and other settings are automatically adjusted, and the show's ready to begin. It's that easy. Design-wise,the depth of the DMR-BW780 is 81mm slimmer than the previous models, providing a great match for today's stylishly slim TV racks.

- Auto Preset Download - Connect the Recorder to your VIErA TV via an HDMI cable, and the channel setting information is automatically downloaded to the Recorder as well as the aspect ratio of your TV.
- Direct TV Record - If you want to record the program you're watching, you can start recording it quickly and easily by pressing the VIErA-Link button on the VIErA remote control and selecting "Direct TV Record" on the VIErA Link menu, recording starts almost instantly.
- Pause Live TV - Pause Live TV lets you freeze TV programs just like pausing a DVD or Blu-ray Disc, by selecting "Pause Live TV" on the VIErA Link Menu. The TV programs is temporarily save on the hard disk drive so you can watch the rest of the program , right from the stopped frame, at a later time. Alternatively you can press the "Pause" button on your Recorder remote and the channel you're watching is Paused for up to 8 hours.
