Larger items by Allied Express, suppliers direct or by Price Pirate's own delivery vehicles. All goods are insured and are fully tracked from point to point. When delivered by suppliers direct, Westinghouse, Electrolux, Kelvinator & Simpson fridges and washing machines are delivered, installed and packaging removed by drivers in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide & Perth metro areas unless otherwise stated. All deliveries are considered standard with ease of access and any difficult deliveries or obstructions must be communicated to our sales staff at time of order and an appropriate additional fee can be quoted. Pricepirate has the best large appliance delivery fee in Australia starting from $20 and as such, we cannot absorb the high cost or time in completing difficult deliveries, deliveries where it would not be possible for a driver to undertake the delivery in a reasonable time and without jeopardising their safety and the safety of others. Difficult deliveries include small doors ways and obstructed entry points, more than 3 stairs to access the home, excessively steep driveways, multiple storey deliveries without an elevator, staircases or any delivery that would normally require lifting of the produuct off a standard delivery trolley in order to place it. It will be the responsibility of the customer to ensure the delivery is one of a standard nature otherwise a re-stocking fee to the value of 10% of the items value plus delivery fee will be charged for any returns. In regional and country areas larger items are delivered only and cannot be unpacked, installed or connected in anyway to household utilities by the driver for liability reasons. Drivers do not accept payment, therefore COD is not an option. There is no expensive central warehouse for Price Pirate and goods are shipped direct from one of our store locations or our suppliers to you. Savings made on not having this warehouse is central to being able to provide our electrical goods at such great discounts. Should an item be 'out of stock' greater then 10 days then you will be contacted soon after ordering to inform you so and an appropriate lead time will be provided. At this point you can choose to proceed or withdraw your order. Being a 'bricks & mortar' retailer with an online component, we experience the same delays from suppliers on stock from time to time but what we find is that our customers will continue with their order in a backorder situation as they have already researched the product locally to find it is in fact out of stock in major retailers as well and we are the best priced. Refer to the Delivery Map below when estimating shipping costs on large items only outside our capital city metro areas of Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide & Perth. This map is shown during the checkout procedure when asked to select a delivery type for your purchase. Unfortunately we are not able to offer pickup outside of the Sydney metro at this time. We deliver Monday to Friday and closed Public Holidays and Sunday.
